Here are few facts that need to be known about the variation in climate of Makkah:
Like most Arabian cities, Makkah too has hot and dry climate. Summers last for a longer duration and winters are cold but the overall weather remains dry in both the seasons. The rainfall is scanty and usually occurs in the winter season between November and January.

Summer temperatures rise above 100 degree F in the noon with winters bearing a comfortable temperature of 64 degrees at the noon time.
The best time to visit Makkah is between November and February. It is best to carry a number of cotton clothes and keep oneself thoroughly hydrated to beat the heat.
